We started the day at Wind Cave - a limestone cave formation with over 116 miles of caves on 3 levels, all within 1 square mile of space. We took an hour and a half tour walking through the cave.

Then we drove through the wildlife loop trail of Custer Park. The bison are everywhere - and here as well as at Yellowstone they stand in the road, ignore you and grunt, whoof, snarl as they feel like. They are reallybig - up to 2400 lbs.

We started the day at Wind Cave and took a tour deep underground

Wind cave has 95% of the world's boxwork in it - stunning!

Next we drove through Custer Park

...and made friends with several burro

We also met our first of (probably) thousands of bison

These animals are very big and noisy
