We started the day at Wind Cave - a limestone cave formation with over 116 miles of caves on 3 levels, all within 1 square mile of space. We took an hour and a half tour walking through the cave.

Then we drove through the wildlife loop trail of Custer Park. The bison are everywhere - and here as well as at Yellowstone they stand in the road, ignore you and grunt, whoof, snarl as they feel like. They are reallybig - up to 2400 lbs.
